Are there any jobs out there for 13-15 yr olds?
Hiya Melanie, i respect that you are wanting to earn your own cash, that is good. To work in a shop, or delivering papers, however in the U.K. you need a work permit. These are available from you local education offices, where you will also have to provide two passport photographs. These are to make up your permit, the authority keeps one, and the shop the other. As you are still at school, you are only allowed to work a certain number of hours per day, and only during certain times, which the authority will tell you.This is for your protection, an officer from the council can call at the shop and inspect the permit at any time. Also you are only allowed to do certain jobs, again the authorities will tell you. good luck, i admire your independent spirit.
You could get in touch with AVON and see if you can be a rep for your area. Anybody can do it. I’m 16 and I it, I know a 13 yr old does. It takes barely anytime, you get to know people around the area and you get around £75 every month or so. Well….it depends how much you sell but it’s good 🙂 Give it a couple of months and you’ll be able to buy the straighteners and pay your mum and dad back and STILL have money spare 😉 It also gives you the chance to be more independant, so it covers everything you want!
