Are there any jobs in demand for English people in Thailand?

This question is asked here by young people who fell head over heels for some Thai girl and want to live in Thailand forever at least twice a week. Thailand is not an easy country to immigrate to unless you are over 50. Thailand does not allow foreigners to do work that Thai people can do i.e. police or nursing. The one chance he has is if he has a degree he may be able to find a teaching job which pays a low wage of about $1,000 a month. He needs a degree in Teaching or a degree in any other subject and a TOEFL. Usually a teacher is on a yearly contract so future employment is always up in the air. My advise is to talk him out of this idea and if not at least see if his girlfriend with immigrate to the UK. And if he and his girlfriend has not spend at least a year or two together and I do not mean on the Internet you really don’t know that person that well. They need time together to learn each other habits and culture.
