Yes – you have to manually open the UDP SNMP-agent (161) and SNMP-trap ports (162) to get the agent to respond to SNMP polls and to forward traps. These functions are essential to enable the Codima Discovery Engine used by autoAsset and autoMap to operate and to allow the autoAnalyzer tool to operate its SNMP functions. This should not affect the larger network installations that Codima Technologies service, as they generally do not use the XP embedded firewall solution.
