Are there any Internet service providers that prohibit access to or have trouble accessing Britannica Online?
Anyone with Internet access should be able to become a member of our site without difficulty. However, customers using Direcway and WebTV to access the Internet have occasionally had difficulty loading the site due to a disjunction between the way these two Internet service providers download information and the way Britannica provides page data.
