The Bureau of Indian Standards published two standards as mentioned below: • IS : 12252 Specification For Polyalkylene Terephthalates (PET And PBT) For Their Safe Use In Contact With Foodstuffs, Pharmaceuticals And Drinking Water. • IS : 12229 Positive List Of Constituents Of Polyalkylene Terephthalates (PET And PBT) For Their Safe Use In Contact With Foodstuffs, Pharmaceutical And Drinking Water.
