Are there any in-jokes, Tuckerisms, or personal references in the Black Fleet trilogy?
Yes. Several. The eagle-eyed reader can look for a wink in the direction of Arthur C. Clarke, my daughter’s name and birthdate, a nod to my Bantam editor, a ship named for the city the first two books were written in, and a character named after my youngest child (born while I was writing Tyrant’s Test), among others.
