Are there any human weight loss studies with TheraSlim?
One study on 60 healthy human subjects, male and female, aged 20-45 years, who were 12 to 33 pounds overweight, showed that 500 mg of Phase 2 taken before a high starch meal produced an average weight loss of 6.5 pounds after 30 days with a 11.63% reduction of fat body mass, preservation of lean muscle mass, and a 3.44% reduction of waistline, a 1.39% reduction of hips circumference, and a 1.44% reduction of thigh circumference. A second study at Northridge Hospital in Los Angeles on 50 healthy overweight subjects consuming 1,500 mg of Phase 2 with a starch-rich meal, lost 129% more weight compared to placebo at the end of the 8 week study. Waist circumference was 36% more reduced and energy levels 27% higher in individuals taking Phase 2. No adverse side effects were reported in either study. Additional clinical studies are currently underway to determine the long-term benefit of Phase 2 after 3 to 12 months of use.
