Are there any HTML Editing programs?
There are many programs specifically designed to make it easier to build web pages. These are not word processors that had HTML support bolted on to the side. These are programs built from the beginning for the sole purpose of web page design. However, that doesn’t mean people should not learn HTML. Knowing how the underlying HTML codes work helps to use these advanced development tool more efficiently. One program almost everyone has is Netscape Composer, part of the “Netscape Communicator” web browser. A tutorial on using this program can be found at http://www.usask.ca/dcs/courses/cai/composer/. The program is okay for simple documents, but does not work well for complex web pages that have to be integrated into a larger web site. The HTML editor of choice in the list is Macromedia Dreamweaver. This has many advanced features for building HTML documents, and also integrating these documents into an overall web site.
