Are there any home brewers out there who have been adversely affected by the boiling wort and hops?
Hi Alan One of the reasons I gave up on home brewing ages ago was the sulphur dioxide which used to give me terrible asthma – even the slightest whiff would have me gasping. A friend recommended VWP as an alternative and I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of any real odour. I’ve used it since Sunday with no side effects so I’m still suspecting the hops particularly with what Tubeway said. BTW I was told years ago by doctor that the reason I was breathless when I have a hangover is the traces of sulpur dioxide used in commercial brewing.
