LamWire has no hidden costs. When you sign up for service, you will pay a one-time activation of $39.99 plus the first month’s service charge, plus shipping and handling fee if your location is outside of our free installation areas. There is a 3% Federal Excise Tax on all service charges. There is a Regulatory Recovery Fee of $1.50 per phone number in your account. Directory Assistance (411) costs $1 per call. International calls are billed on a per minute basis.
