Are there any health conditions to not receive Colon Hydrotherapy sessions?
There are some health conditions which can be a contraindication for Colon Hydrotherapy. If you have severe internal problems, please consult with your doctor before beginning sessions or please contact the office for further information as we are trained to screen for such indications. Do enemas work the same way? Enemas can be highly habit forming and only use a single intake of water in the lower section of the colon, usually causing a single bowel movement. Enemas will generally not get the water into the full length of the colon. With Colon Hydrotherapy we do several inflows and outflows of water, cleansing and hydrating the entire colon, with you eliminating several times, helping the bowel to function more efficiently on its own, and is not habit forming.
