Are there any health conditions for which laser therapy is not recommended?
LLLT is not recommended for those who have epilepsy, tumors, active cancers, or for those who are undergoing radiation or chemotherapy. It should also not be used on the abdomen of a pregnant woman or if you are taking photosensitive medication. Not treating these particular clients is a precautionary measure. If you have health concerns, consult your physician prior to treatment.
