The Firelink Project will introduce new technology to the majority of the Fire and Rescue Service in England, Scotland and Wales. Accordingly, the Safety Representative and Safety Committees Regulations (SRSCR) 1977 and the Health and Safety (Consultation with Employees Regulations) (HSCER) 1996 place a legal requirement for employers to consult with employees and their representatives on health and safety matters.
