Know that, in general, one doesn’t actually major in forensic computing. There are a few schools that offer specific computer forensics degrees, but in general, instead you major in software engineering, or computer science, or information technology, or computer engineering, or something closely related, and get a certification in forensic computing on the side, or just after you graduate. Employers seem to like the CISA, CISM, CISSP, CPA, or CMA certification/licenses. Note that most employers seem to prefer that you majored in computer science. And you want to go to the best school you can possibly get into.
