Are there any *good* psychology magazines in the UK worth subscribing to?
Depends what area you’re interested in. And frankly, if you’re at Uni you have access to online journals (like ATHENS) which is both cheaper, easier and more range. The Psychologist by the BPS covers a range of topics and recent researcg quite lightly, but acceptably. You’d probably not use it as a source. Frequently used journals include “Psychological review” (covers everything, and you could reference this), “personality and individual differences”, “Nature” often has good comparitive psychology articles, “British Journal Of Psychology”. But as I said, many are online nowadays (try google scholar). A good library might have copies. There are cheaper ways than subscribing. And more effective, as you can read more journals, and pinpoint the articles that are of specific interest to you or your course.
