Are there any good photo sharing sites besides Flickr?
Fotki.com is a great photo sharing tool. You can password protect albums, or you can also have private albums which only your “friends” on Fotki can see. In addition, it has blogging (journal) options, and allows hot linking images from them to other blogs. You can also comment on photos in an album, or on an album for that matter. It also has probably the cheapest price for prints on the web at 9 cents for a 4×6 print. The free account does have ads, but if you want your fotki page to be ad free they have a pro plan for $30/yr. This is a really great deal for a lot of reasons. With the pro plan you can FTP your images up or down (a great way to to retrieve them if you have a drive failure or loss), you can sell your photos at any price (fotki sends you a check or paypal payment for the difference of print costs), and you can have an obscene amount of space (I currently have 40+ GB of photos).
