Are there any good alternatives to PayPal for micro-payment services?
I want to help someone sell a bunch of MP3 files online, but when we look at services like Amazon’s partner CreateSpace – they take $0.39 per transaction netting $0.60 to the seller. I took a look at PayPal’s micropayment service, which is pretty nice at 5% + $0.05 per transaction – but PayPal has some history of not paying out people on small payments if they hit big (well, I’ve heard dome grumblings about this anyway through Leo Laporte – I don’t think it happened to him but he “knows people it happened to”.) Anyhow, would love to hear about any micropayment merchant account providers! Best answer goes to the person that lists the one we actually use – alternatively to the one that is best researched if we don’t end up using one. Thanks!
