Are there any genuine mediums or clairvoyants on here? ?
I’d say that 99.9% of mediums are fraudulent. They use a technique called cold-reading where they take cues from your behaviour and the things you say that you may not even think has anything to do with their ‘work’. They use quite general terms and pick up on minute, subliminal, reactions, then zero in until they find something that you take as quite specific to you and the person you’re trying to contact. Often they will only tell you the kind of thing you want to hear. The psychological illusionist Derren Brown posed as a medium in one of his programmes, and was able to fool everyone he performed to, just through these tricks, coming up with very personal information through what the participants gave away through body language and their desperate need to find meaning in what he was saying. That said, I’m not prepared to say that no one on earth has a psychic ability, but the vast majority don’t. Be careful.
