Are there any fundamental limitations Linux has that Windows doesn and vice versa?

Based on what you see in other industries, where will the new business opportunities present themselves? What business models will prevail in that kind of world? Systems will still need programming, and companies will focus on consulting and the services that they now provide. They will lose the distractions and customer relationship management problems of pitching overpriced software and hardware.
