Are there any factors that delay the completion of a position action within the projected timeline?
While it is our goal to address the urgent needs of all our customers within the timelines, there are several factors that may impact the timely review and completion of position actions. High volume receipt of position action requests, receipt of incomplete or inaccurate documentation as well as special divisional/departmental projects are typical factors that affect us. There are instances when the position action request proposes a precedent setting classification and/or compensation outcome that may require meetings among stakeholders, both in and outside of the requesting department, that take time.
