If you want a 4-digit (non-alpha) special number, the BMV charges an extra $30 Pull fee once every five years, during the 5-year special recognition plate cycle, in addition to the annual $15 special recognition plate fee. NOTE: All low numbers 1-100 are only assigned by the Alumnae Office and must be reserved ahead of time. There is still a good choice of low numbers available, so contact the Alumnae Office (574) 284-4578, if you are interested. All numbers over 100 are assigned by the BMV on a first-come, first-served basis and there is no additional fee charged for a number over 100 randomly assigned by the BMV. If you want a specific number over 100, you will need to indicate that number on your special plate application form.
