Are there any extra costs associated with Managed Exchange apart from the monthly per mailbox costs?
In some cases, yes. Each company receives a total monthly storage allocation (comprised of the individual storage contributions of each Managed Exchange mailbox enabled under that account, as well as the Public Folder allocation if applicable) to cover all the data stored in each users inbox, sent items, calendar, contacts and the Public Folder. If the companys total average monthly storage usage exceeds the allocation, a fee of $0.099 per excess MB per month will apply. Customers are able to pre-purchase 100MB Storage Add-Ons in advance for $5.00 per 100MB per month (an effective rate of $0.05 per MB, compared to the standard excess storage rate of $0.099 per MB). You may activate an unlimited number of 100MB Storage Add-Ons on your account to help to reduce your companys exposure to excess storage charges. If you wish to use a BlackBerry mobile device to access your email, calendar and contacts, the Managed Exchange BlackBerry Add-On product is an additional $15 per month per mailbox
