A. To ensure proper insertion, carefully read and follow the instructions. Make sure that you aim it horizontally towards your tailbone and that you are able to make one full rotation. Also, try running your finger around the cup pushing it against the opposite side of the vaginal wall. The stem may be trimmed for comfort. You may want to use another method – the “push down” method: push one side of the cup into itself, then pinch the sides together. The DivaCup sits lower than the cervix, so it is important to aim it toward the tailbone not “up”.
