Are There Any Examples Of Some False Prophets?
There are several in the Bible who did this. The wide variance in doctrinal beliefs suggest that Christianity contains many… and here come the thumb down votes for saying that, but if you will, consider why the scriptures say _one_ faith, _one_ baptism, etc., and yet there are thousands of denominations, each proclaiming that only _they_ have the truth. It doesn’t take a prophet among them, but simply false teachers. And if there are false prophets in the world today, where are the true prophets today. It is easy to brand someone who founded a religion (like Christian Scientists) as a “false” prophet, but where is the “true” prophet who can make that statement? We can’t use the scriptures for the prophets whose words are recorded in them are all dead and do not know those living today…
