Are there any examples of bible teachings about equality?

Matthew 15:22-28 A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-possession.” Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.” He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said. He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to their dogs.” Here, Jesus refers to Jews as “children” and non-Jews as “dogs”. Jesus only agreed to help the woman after she referred to herself as a dog as well. Jesus didn’t seem to be real big on racial equality. Of course, most Jews weren’t in those days. In fact, the Bible tends to be an extremely racist text in many ways. The Bible definitely states that Jews are better than other races, (especially in the Old Testament).
