Are there any entrance exams required?
You are required to prove your English proficiency through IELTS exam. You have to fulfill your institution and High commission’s requirement for admission and visa. TOEFL score is acceptable for admission but does not meet the criteria for student visa. For more details on the IELTS divisions within the various IDP offices or log onto www.ieltsidpindia.com. It is highly recommended that you have an IELTS score before submitting applications or meeting with institution representatives during Interview Programs held in India. Besides English proficiency, admission for most courses is based on past academic qualifications and/ or work experience – hence no ‘entrance exams’ are required. However, for some course such as MBA , referee reports and Statement of Purpose is equally important.
