Are there any educational professionals that teach children with severe to profound disabilities?
I have an assignment to complete. I had to pick 15 toys that will help develop pro-social behavior, targeting a specific age range. I chose the following toys. Lullaby Glowworm – lights up/plays music, talking vamones von – says phrases in english & spanish along with music phrase & sound effects, doodle pro, fun2learn – music songs, dance & movement, games, see&learn piano, intro to colors, shapes and intrument sounds, music mirror lights up baby’s face, alphabet pal – gross motor, auditory, congnitive language, letter and sound and plays 26 songs. I am to discuss my written description and summary of my findings with an educational professional. If you are an educator that is able to give me feedback in this area, please help. Any information you may have would be greatly appreciated. First, it sounds like you have a well thought out plan. I would reflect upon whether your selections are age-appropriate items. Moreover, I would consider how the purchase of these items will be funded.
