Are there any differences between male and female AMs?
Males tend to be larger, but given how huge all AMs are, a small AM is still a gigantic animal! The surgery to neuter a male is less intrusive (and sometimes less expensive) than the surgery to fix a female. Anecdotal evidence seems to indicate that male AMs particularly prior to being neutered might be more prone than females towards acts of dominance. But as a general rule, the differences between males and females are extremely minor. AMs of both genders are wonderful animals and protective of their families.
