Previously listed “lead free” products were studied and considered compliant, in regards to lead content only for lead-free soldering of terminal connection, case, and hoop. At that time, Cadmium, Mercury, Hexavalent chromium, PBB, and PBDE were not studied. So we can not say “lead free = RoHS compliance”. In fact, only a few products reviewed their constituents on the six hazardous substances and eliminate them.
