For example between Nurofen and ibuprofen. “There is absolutely no difference in the active ingredients, it is just branding. The ibuprofen in a brand-name medicine is just the same as the ibuprofen in a non-branded equivalent. If in doubt about what is in a brand-name medicine, the active ingredients will be listed on the packaging. You can always ask your pharmacist for help.
