Are there any diagnostic tools available to prevent or detect the onset of an ulcer?
There is a strong correlation between the use of the TempTouch and preventing amputation. We recommend measuring six separate sites on each foot–the same sites per foot–and comparing those sites, left foot to right foot. We have learned that those patients who used the TempTouch averted serious ulceration. The TempTouch is used on a daily basis on both feet. Six sites are measured on each foot, and they’re compared with the same sites on the other foot. We know of no other product, other than the TempTouch, that can help either the patient or the doctor diagnose and predict an oncoming ulcer.
