Are there any dates after the end of the EAP on November 2 that an organization must avoid for privately targeted or club events for MBA1s?

Yes, organizations cannot begin to hold private or club events for first-year students until on or after November 9. This is because the week of November 2 is set aside to allow time for firms to promote their events to students. The other date to avoid is November 18 which is the GSB-sponsored Recruiter Day/Company Networking Night for MBA1s. Separately, note that organizations should not schedule any events for October 6; this is the date of the Company Networking Night for MBA2s. It is required that all on- and off-campus events are submitted to and approved by a Recruiting Relationship Manager prior to finalizing and publishing the events. This event review process is designed to avoid conflicts between organizations that are targeting students in the same industry.
