Are there any cultural programs available at Transylvania University?
Yes, many! Our Fine Arts Division offers well-rounded and expanding programs of public exhibitions and performances presented by students, faculty and guest artists in art, music, and theatre. The Department of Art offers special lectures and programs throughout the year as well as a full series of exhibitions in the Morlan Gallery. Are there any instrumental groups on campus such as band or orchestra? Transylvania offers students many opportunities to showcase their talents—from solo recitals and madrigals to performances with the concert band, jazz and percussion ensembles, the chamber orchestra, and several choral groups. At Transylvania, you do not have to be a music major to participate in music activities.
