Ian’s Red Banner allergen-free line adheres to stringent manufacturing guidelines. Any possible contaminant (like wheat) is removed from the plant. The equipment and room are then thoroughly sanitized. All ingredients and machinery are swab-tested for cross-contamination. In addition, each run of finished product is checked for the presence of wheat, milk, eggs, nuts or soy by an independent testing laboratory. The World Health Organization requires any wheat-free/gluten-free food include less than 10 parts per million. Ian’s secures independent laboratory testing to ensure products have less than 2.5 parts per million on average. None of our products are tested for shellfish cross-contamination.
