Are there any counter-indications for laser and flashlamp (IPL) treatment ?
In general, patients are strictly advised not to expose areas to be treated to the sun and, a fortiori, not to undergo UV treatment. Depending on how tanned your skin is, the doctor will determine with you the date when your treatment may begin upon your first appointment. Likewise, the recent use of self-tanning products or suntan activators is incompatible with undertaking treatment.
