Are there any circumstances when the TAC will consider making income payments without a medical certificate?
The TAC will consider paying LOE or LOEC benefits without a certificate in exceptional situations or where there is: • Proof of in-patient treatment • A recent medical report confirming ongoing incapacity • Verbal confirmation from a treating doctor, followed up with a medical certificate • A certificate of capacity provided by an occupational physiotherapist.
