Cheats, no not really. They has been some automated tools released which could be considered cheats, but using them can get you warned and then banned if discovered. They have also been some glitches that could have been considered cheats but to my knowledge they have all been fixed. To whack a mobster you simply do enough damage to take their life to zero or less. A secret to doing that is attack until they are in the hospital then repeatedly attack. As soon as they get out of the hospital their health will be at their lowest point and if you hit them then, there is a good chance to kill them or whack the mobster.
