Are there any cheap international schools in The Hague?
Sorry to say but there is no such thing as a cheap International school anywhere in the Netherlands Per definition, international schools cater for a niche market (teaching in English) and the main bulk of students are expat families for whom many are on tax free or special tax situations and therefore is advantageous to work in the position. As a result International schools can ask for quite expensive fees and they will get them. However from speaking to my husband’s colleagues (many are expats in Den Haag) then they also get a high quality education. If you really want English schooling then I am afraid you are going to have to pay for it. Shop around by all means but last time I checked for another question the fees were all around the same, and I checked the American School of the Hague recently and it was approx €15,000 per year as I remember.
