If the car is equipped with styled painted alloy rims, then one can find car touch up paint pens available for the rims. The pens work best, though, on small nicks or scratches in the rim. If the rim has been rubbed along curbing or rock, then it is likely the damage will be extensive and will require that it must ground out with a proper sanding wheel, and then be buffed down. At that point, the newly buffed and cleaned area will need a proper primer coat and spray-on topcoat. Plus, sealer or clearcoat to complete the work. Paint pens are useful only for small nicks or dings.
