Are there any bullfights on in Madrid between the 1st and 5th of July?
Dates in Spain usually only get released 10 days before the fight. (unless it is part of the professional circuit or festivals). Be sure you are truly seeing a bullfight. Most people wrongly believe they have seen a bullfight when they haven’t. (90%)This is why many people think they are cruel, barbaric etc. The truth is a true bullfight is about strength, beauty & passion. It is an art NOT a sport. There are approx 26 other forms of bull sports in Spain which most people THINK are bullfights. i.e corrida de novilladas which is more like a training practice for up and coming fighters but they are not yet matadors and there is likely to be some torturing of the bull due to their inexpertise. True bullfights are expensive but well worth it. I would avoid corridas novilladas (held at same time, in same locations) as you will not be seeing the real art and skill.
