This is a difficult question for the ESAA to answer and we can’t recommend any school over any other. There are many private (public?) boarding schools in the UK, but many don’t affiliate to or participate in the ESAA activities. However, there are some schools we are aware of: Millfield School in Somerset takes sport very seriously, and regularly make it to the finals of ESAA Schools Cup competitions. You can find them at www.millfieldschool.com Stowe School in Buckinghamshire includes sport as a major part of activities. It offers what is considered by many to be the best cross country courses in the Country. They hosted the ESAA Schools Cross Country Cup in 2001.
