Are there any basic rules/ideas that are helpful to keep in mind when picking wedding flowers?
• You can use anything you want. Don’t worry about “matching” … worrying about “coordinating.” There is a big difference. Not everything in your wedding needs to be perfectly matched. As long as things look good together, that’s all you need to worry about. Your guests are not going to notice or care what kind of flowers are in your centerpieces, or if they match the bridesmaids’ bouquets. They are there to see you get married, then have some fun afterward. Not nitpick and critique everything you’ve chosen. You can absolutely have the same flowers everywhere, or use the same overall color scheme, or do things completely different. You can have the same bouquet as the bridesmaids, or you can have a completely different one. It’s your choice. Bring the florist photos of what you like, make a list of all the floral arrangements you’ll need (bouquets and boutonnieres and corsages, centerpieces, church decorations, flowers for your cake, etc.), an idea of how much money you want to spend,
