A couple of New Zealand players are Australian born. Aaron Redmond who is being flown over to replace Ryder was born in Australia. Also Matthew Sinclair who isn’t in the team any more but was regularly playing 5-10 years ago was also Australian born, In fact his nickname was “Skippy” from Skippy the Kangaroo. The West Indian cricketer Brendan Nash was Australian born and played for Queensland but missed selection for Australia so decided to play for West Indies as he was raised in Jamaica. Dimitri Masarenhas from England was English born but raised in Australia. I’m sure there are more.
