Well, there are tons of them writing in Japanese (and other languages), but I’ll stick to just the ones available in English; this list also includes Anglo-Asian authors: Kobo Abe, Brenda Clough, Ted Chiang, Tony Chiu, Amitav Ghosh, Sakyo Komatsu, Eric Kotani (Yoji Kondo), Haruki Murakami, Linda Nagata (though someone has said that she is not Asian–her spouse is), Somtow Sucharitkul/S. P. Somtow, Hiroe Suga, George Takei, William F. Wu. C.
