Are there any Americans out there who have tried Victoria Bitter Beer?

I think Americans would prefer Southwark, (South Australian) because its sweeter than VB, and only 4.5% alcohol, compared to the bitter 4.9% of VB, which I switched to when I lived in Darwin, but when I returned to Adelaide, I compared it to the local 4.9% West End Draught, which I found to my surprise was a much better bitter; more full bodied, and with a richer flavour than the thin, rather tasteless (in comparison) VB. Try it sometime; it reminds me somewhat of Crown Lager, (still excellent, chilled, with a fine meal) but much cheaper, for regular use. I tried Melbourne Bitter, Fosters, and Carlton, as well as various NSW rubbish, Tooheys HAH!!! (I’m a New South Welshman!) Emu, Swan, XXXX, and various Tassie brands, like Cascade, which I’d get if I won Lotto. I don’t like Bud, or Coors.
