Are there any american airlines that sponsor aircraft mechanics from abroad to work for their company?
You might want to check into this more carefully. You may be able to emigrate and then take your A&P license and pursue a job with a U.S. airline. I worked for a major U.S. airline and we had Chinese engineers, Pakistani and Iranian and Lebanese and German technicians. They all did it, so there is no reason you shouldn’t be able to, as well. I think you will need to do some research and plan your path out pretty carefully, but it certainly should be possible. What about becoming an employee of a U.S. carrier, and then seeing about transferring through the network, i.e. work for United Airlines in London, Paris, or wherever, and move as a company promotion? I know that this has been done, as one of my friends is from Germany and came over as a Lufthansa mechanic in the 70’s, then left them in New York when he had a son, who he didn’t want being raised in New York, and moved to Tucson Arizona. He just retired after 20 years with the same company I work for now. (Corporate Jet aircraft se
