Are there any age limits on flight training?
There are no age limitations on when you may begin flight training. However, in order to obtain the medical certificate necessary for solo flight, you must be at least 16 years old, and at least 17 years old to obtain the Private Pilot’s License. → What written and flight tests are necessary to become a pilot? Before you solo, you will be administered a “pre-solo written exam” by your instructor.
