In case of young (17-25 year old) patients one must consider the scale of continuing hair loss and select surgical tactics according to that. In general, there are no age limits for hair transplantation. We have performed successful operations on 5-6 year old children (following scarring caused by burns) as well as on 70-75 year old elderly patients.
