Over 40, eh? I think I qualify (with 18 years to spare) and Bach is a classic with me, particularly his Brandenburg Concerti and works for organ. There is something not quite definable which attracts me to Baroque music and Bach in particular. It has an orderliness which mathematicians have studied for a while and is very refreshing to the ear, but there is more to it, and I’m not certain words suffice. I’m also a very big fan of Handel, but I’m not certain anyone should go through a live time without experiencing Johann Sebastian. Play on!
