Are there alternate versions of songs on ELV1S?

Yes there are. For a number of reasons the producer of the album decided to use alternate versions of a few songs. By doing this he was able to achieve a better, more modern sound for the overall record. The sound quality was greater on the masters he used and he was looking to achieve the best sounding, best repertoire filled, and best Elvis record that could be done. We are thrilled with the results and great success of this record.
